Feb 24: Where I Work

Party day at school. 

Don't be fooled by the "I'm so cute" act.

Wallflowers, luckily he had his tie so we could see him.

Make love not or shoot someone.

Too much partying brings out the true emotions.

Feb 23: Shoes

Friday was 100 day at our school and for the party children were allowed to dress as they wished instead of in uniforms. This usually brings out all the princess dresses and soldier outfits (don't worry there's proof in the next post). This guy always tends to dazzle the crowd with a special hairdo or fancy clothes...Today's party was no exception. I couldn't help but enjoy the contrast of the shoes... 

Feb 22: In my bathroom cabinet

For today I am bringing back a photo from my 30th birthday that still brings me enjoyment aromatically and comically. 

Slight overcompensation from the person naming this cologne.

Happy Valentines day everyone...If you choose to celebrate it. My lovely wife prepared this breakfast for me while I was on my run this morning.

Well everyone, since we've hit that time of the year when our internet gets shotty. This gave me the perfect excuse to skip yesterday's post of "in your closet." So today I'm sitting in a nearby bar in order to post my picture for the day:

It happened in SLO and it happens here...warm weather in the middle of February. Warm enough to be barefoot at the beach with your feet in the water. It surely makes me happy

Feb. 8: Sun

Luckily the sun broke through the outrageous storms for some great sunset pics at the beach. Made me miss my surfboard.

I loved how the sun exploded out of this gap in the leaves.
Also don't stare too long or you'll go blind

I wasn't the only one enjoying the sun this evening.

This is as close to a sunset surf session as I will get until the summer. 

Feb 7: Button

I had to settle for an actual button when I couldn't find a way to photograph the emotional buttons that my students seem so adept at pushing.  Here is a picture of the most interesting buttons in our house:

Feb. 6: Dinner

Today's picture captures what our house has looked like ever since my lovely wife started her craft blog. This was our dinner tonight:

Feb. 5: 10 am

On this last day of holiday before school starts we took advantage of the opportunity to sleep in. Therefore, breakfast was still being created at 10 am:

Eggs, Potato Pancakes, and French Press Coffee from an Ataturk Mug...fantastic.

Feb. 3: Hands

My hands have been pretty busy lately with my newest winter time activity. With no Tv and only free podcasts to entertain I have taken up crocheting to keep my hands busy. This will be a basket some day.

Erin also suggested that I add something from the archives that fits the topic if I have one. This is a picture of our hands after our Henna night party in Turkey.
